Naptime Crafting: Halloween Edition!

I've been busy working on our Halloween costumes but they turned out so terrible that I'm not going to share them here!
I'll just tell you that Ryan borrowed a Darth Vader mask from my parents to wear with his own black clothes, I painted a VERY SAD version of the Death Star onto a thrifted black maternity shirt, and the little guy wore brown pants and his brown bear-ears hoodie with a sheath thing over the top so he'd be an Ewok.

In my mind, we were going to be a lot more thrifty-looking.

But I will share this, the Trick-or-Treat bag I made using fabric from JoAnn's! I followed the general template from Sew Everything Workshop but did 4x4 patchwork squares and made it a little smaller because I don't think he needs that much candy!

I hope you all had a lovely Halloween!

I am actually on modified bed rest right now after some contractions, which happened during my first pregnancy too but eventually stopped on their own... but we headed out to our church for a lovely Harvest Festival dinner any ways and the little guy had fun seeing everyone's costumes and "earning" candy by walking up to the games and tapping them instead of actually playing them like the other kids! ;]

I hope you all had a happy, safe Halloween and are ready for Christmas now, because we all know how the retail world works!
